Acquire a Sweet Leaf plant; dried leaves are almost 300 times sweeter then sugar. They are very easy to clone and verycold intolerant. It's common name is Stevia but it is listed in all garden supply books I have seen as "Sweet Leaf Plant".
Note: Sweet Leaf is non-fermentable and therefore will not act as a food source for yeast. That means we can't try to make our own hooch with it?
Well Yea............
The up side is it frees up your Beet and cane sugar supply/reserves for other "cooking"
. You can use it in place of sugar needed for cooking/baking for every thing else; breads will not rise as high using it though and your not going to be able to caramelize it, but it works ............and once you have the plants its an endless and free supply.
