| It's time to turn over your field(s)/garden(s) again. the best way to midigate weeds is turning the soil over three times before planting allowing unwanted plants to come up between turnings. This reduces weeds considerably. Next week it's time to plant!! porch boxes work great for those in cities as you can also grow just about anything in them coupled with the aid of a trellis | |

| Spring is on us .......though it does not look it. Not too early to start your tomatoe and pepper plants indoors from seed. If you choose to buy plants instead it may be wise to get them as soon as your local green houses have them as the rise in food costs will drive many more people to try growing their own this year. Remember you do not need a garden to grow a lot of things like tomatoes, onions, lettuce and peppers; they do fine in pots or porch boxes. | |
